Growing up with an English family in New York, I spent almost every summer in England and did my time in boarding school in Gloucestershire. When I spent a year working in London I heard about an environmental artist, Kate Mccguire, who creates amazing sculptures from recycled feathers. She collects the feathers from all sorts of birds she finds on her walks and often has farmers and hunters send her them.
